Hey everyone! I recently created a group on the awesome website called Meetup. It allows like minded people to find and meet up with those that share similar interests. My hope is that this will allow for the better organization and planning of social workshops, like the tea times. Check out the group here:
…”The quality of our relationships in life is hands down the largest factor for our over all happiness (Harvard 80 year study on what makes us happy).
Therefore it is incredibly valuable for our health and happiness to concentrate on how we relate to each other, ourselves and the planet. Our sense of community plays a large role in our emotional and mental stability. So why don’t we all get together and share some tea, ideas, feelings, and perceptions so we can make things a little more clear for ourselves.
I’ve put together a social workshop combining the Wim Hof breathing method, Marshall Rosenberg’s philosophies of Non-violent communication, and some stories and insight into the effect of culture in our lives.
I love to share these ideas, expand upon them, and learn together with groups of people. I am not a teacher. I believe these labels don’t help us, as the reality is that we all have something we teach and learn for each other. So come and do both we me 🙂
I propose we do this at my apartment; It’s in the heart of the city, cozy, and inspiring (at least for me).
I will buy local fruits and vegetables to share with you, and I would appreciate if contributed some money in the Prix Libre box (curtesy of Golshanak; Pomme de Reinette) installed right in front of the door. My ambitions with this workshop is to repeat it several times, and develop the ideas + add new ones. Its a way of learning from the good influences that we discover from each other.
More than 20 people would provide a space issues at my place, but we could easily move it outdoors in that case. Please reserve or confirm your attendance (and for those that might come with you ;)”
See you soon
